The Cermak family owns and operates Sugarbush Creek Farm and is a supplier of maple syrup products from this sustainable forest near Huntsville, Ohio. The presentation will cover current practices and techniques of producing this Ohio product.

If the sap is running, the family will be busy making maple syrup and Bob Jefferis will present “The American Invents Act: Who wins?”, about the recent changes to the patent system in the United States. Congress made major changes to the patent system to harmonize the system with the rest of the world. This is the first major revision to the United States patent system in over 50 years. Do the changes benefit corporations or individual inventors?
