Luncheon with fashions of the era presented by Laura Loew

The Fashions of Downton Abbey: Have you caught Downton fever? The most popular PBS–Masterpiece Theatre program of all time features fashions c. 1912 to the 1920s. Laura brings original antique fashion from her private collection, and shares her insights into the costuming of Downton for all five seasons. Also, learn more about being ‘in service’ in an Edwardian manor house.

A continuing fascination with the Victorian and Edwardian eras led Laura Loew of Medina, Ohio to collect and extensively research antique fashion and culture. Her immersion into the Victorian lifestyle prompted her to develop her company, Lost in the Past, in 2001. Since then she has enjoyed sharing the grandeur of this forgotten age with others.

Laura appeared on the award-winning PBS program ‘Applause!’ discussing Downton fashions, and was the keynote speaker for the PBS kickoff event celebrating the return of Season 5 of Downton.
