The Enduring Mystery of The Overlook and the Unsolved Murder of
William Lowe Rice
In August of 1910, William Lowe Rice, a founder of the now world-renowned law firm of Jones Day was murdered walking home from a game of golf. Not even Pinkerton Detectives could solve the crime.
Set against the backdrop of glorious Cleveland Heights in the early 1900s, this story of wealth, power and beautiful costumes rivals Downton Abbey. Mr. Rice’s widow went on to be presented at Court to King George V in the 1920s.
A true ‘whodunit’, this mystery remains unsolved to this day.
