In March 2011 NASA placed the first ever spacecraft in orbit around the planet Mercury. Over the course of an 11 year mission, Messenger visited 3 planets, and revealed the planet closest to the sun to be among the most enigmatic objects in the solar system. Dr. Steven A. Hauck, Professor of Planetary Geodynamics at Case Western Reserve University, will share some of what we’ve learned from this mission.
Reservations must be received in the Club office by noon on Wednesday, Nov 25.
